Tawaf: Circling the Ka'bah

Tawaf is circling the Ka'bah seven times, beginning and ending at the Black Stone, keeping the Ka'bah on your left.

Practical notes

• Each circuit starts and ends in line with the Black Stone.
• If the area is crowded, you do not need to touch or kiss the Black Stone — simply point towards it and say "Allahu Akbar".
• The upper floors and roof are far less crowded if mobility allows.
